Project Runway should be prepared for big competition! Blythe has very talented designers who work for her as well. And because of the tiny size of each piece of outfit, the challenge seems to be even more difficult.
Blythe Runway Challenge started on Flickr on February 2009, with one challenge a month until October 2009, and 25 contestants. It’s a great idea from Tess, who has run the whole project with 2 friends/judges for the first time!
And the big winner is: Miss Armour. Here’s one of the challenges she won: A modern Alice in Wonderland with a fabulously detailed outfit. The design, colors and technical skills are stunning here, and in each of her creations!

Now, let’s have a look at the other winners!
My friend *jaszmade won the second prize, and was the winner of the Black & White Challenge among others : her creativity has no limits!

The third prize is for another friend, Woollyrockers. She was also the winner of the very last challenge: B-movie Halloween, with an amazing crocheted Godzilla!

The Team Vampytuffet got the fourth place. They also won one of the hardest challenges because the outfit had to be entirely made with things you can find in a grocery store. They created the funniest and cutest one with pasta decoration!

And the fifth place goes to Bizacco Larissa-Auto .The challenge she won was to use a given rainbow fabric. Larissa recreated the fabric completely by cutting it into stripes and weaving it. What an artwork!

I will announce it here as soon the second edition of the Blythe Runway Challenge starts, and this blog will follow each of the next challenges. It’s a lot of fun and so pleasant for the eyes!
